I saw one as a child and ever since, it has been my favorite car.
It had never been wrecked and had most all original parts with original motor, so it is an all numbers matching car, not missing any major parts. It just needed lots of TLC.
It’s been a long road so far and I’m not sure when it will be done but I love every second of it. My son’s have learned a lot as will as myself. This project is about time with family the car is just a by product. It will probably never be 100% done and I’m OK with that.
It was stock, with 71k miles on it. Most of the paint was peeling, both motor mounts were shot, it had been sitting for 3-4 years so it needed a full tune up.
My grandpa always showed me classics growing up, so I became sort of a “old person” at a young age. I fell in love with classics even more when a neighbor stored his 54 Chevy in my aunts garage. I remember every time I went to visit her I would get to sit in it and feel all “retro.”
