As for this year, well, let’s just say it started a little slow. January through April, we had a total of 1,019 views to our site. Four months and we barely had any viewership, which made me wonder if this was at all worth it.

Knight’s Code of Conduct – By Raising a Modern Day Knight

To be fair, I got this list with these scriptures from Raising a Modern Day Knight. Click the link to check out their site.

I intend to go through these scriptures like I did with the “Definition of a Godly Man”

Loyalty

Hosea 6:6

For I delight in faithfulness, not simply in sacrifice;
I delight in acknowledging God, not simply in whole burnt offerings.

Servant Leadership

Matthew 20:26-27

It must not be this way among you! Instead whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave

Honesty

Ephesians 4:25

Therefore, having laid aside falsehood, each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members of one another.

Self-Discipline

1 Timothy 4:7-8

But reject those myths fit only for the godless and gullible, and train yourself for godliness. For “physical exercise has some value, but godliness is valuable in every way. It holds promise for the present life and for the life to come.”

Kindness

Proverbs 19:22

What is desirable for a person is to show loyal love,
and a poor person is better than a liar.

Humility

Philippians 2:3

Instead of being motivated by selfish ambition or vanity, each of you should, in humility, be moved to treat one another as more important than yourself.

Excellence

1 Corinthians 9:24

Do you not know that all the runners in a stadium compete, but only one receives the prize? So run to win.

Integrity

Proverbs 10:9

The one who conducts himself in integrity will live securely,
but the one who behaves perversely will be found out.

Perseverance

Galatians 6:9

So we must not grow weary in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not give up.

Purity

1 Timothy 4:12

Let no one look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in your speech, conduct, love, faithfulness, and purity.
