I cosplay and looking for a way to transport my tank. I met a guy from New York and he told me to buy a hearse. I’m thinking who in their right mind would drive one. Then got thinking he’s not wrong ,lock it up and no body would bother it.
In 1971 Ferree and his son installed a Chevy 327/350 with a 2B carburetor and manifold from a newly wrecked car, repainted the car while keeping the original black paint on the fenders. He then drove the car to Bonneville, Utah and also made 2 stops in California.

I bought it off of EBay for $99 with 320 watchers.
1963 by my grandfather John J. Stevens Sr. His daughter Eunice (Stevens) Cooper inherited it in 1966 (I inherited it in 2002 and it has been in storage ever since)
I purchased it in 1971 late in the year. Drove it to school just after the Christmas break. It had approx 32,000 miles on it.
Erin had no idea that the person she was about to date & spend the rest of her life with was actually a Custom Car builder and owned Ultrasoundz’ Car Audio & Customz’ in California, Nevada & Arizona.
Well, another year has gone by and we have had some milestones happen. This has been a good year for us, so, in an effort to recap what has been happening, let’s look back at last years review.
I have always worked on cars and completed a few projects, but always wanted to build a classic car my way.
I found it in a field. I was 15 years old
I chose this vehicle because when I was 15, I a neighbor who had a 1940 Ford Coupe, black, 327, 4 speed with a Indian blanket interior. It was low, black and wicked. I wanted to build a similar car one day.
Once I had a product I believed in, at a price I felt is better suited to people like me, we ordered some. A LOT of hose and A LOT of fittings – probably too much but we believed so strongly that there is an opportunity for a High Quality PTFE braided hose in the market with awesome looking AN fittings that we committed to taking the idea forward.
I’ve always wanted a hearse. They’re beautiful, unique, and versatile vehicles. They’re made to order, so no two are alike.
My favorite thing about the mid 60’s Superior made coaches, is the roof line. It gives them such a sexy silhouette.
My car was in driving condition with a basic small block Chevy . I drove it for a few years while gathering parts to make it a big tire ProStreet. In 2003 it was sent off to Kens Kustom Chassis in Reading Pa to get its big tire transformation.
