I drew and built my frame. Everything was done at home in a 12′ x 24′ shed or out in the yard, weather permitting.
I wanted to do this project with the family to get my kids involved in the car scene
I purchased the start of this project by trading for it piece by piece traded a 1929 Mercedes Benz kit car for the project and a lot of other old goodies to make this build happen.
Since my Dad passed away last year we have been taking it to car shows and driving it!
My best friend and son helped me build this truck. Having my son help with this build, I was able to pass on some old hot rod knowledge down to him.
It was my Fathers, Grandfathers and Great-Grandfathers truck and was used as a lot truck when my Great-Grandfather had it. It would haul or tow anything they put on, or behind it. It wasn’t fast, but it had the power.
