Rick & Kimmi Lynn and their 1930 Ford Model A “The Dirty 30”
While I am a huge fan of Built not Bought, this car demanded to be brought back to life in the way it was intended when originally built.
My name is Dennis.
I am a Christian, a husband, a father to 1 beautiful step-daughter and 3 strapping young boys and a step-grandfather (They call me “Grumpy”) to a gorgeous step-granddaughter and a handsome step-grandson. These will always be my priorities, no matter what my interests are. That said, I strive to keep and maintain a family friendly atmosphere, so my boys and their friends can enjoy the site as much as I do. (Grand-kids aren’t old enough and daughter has other interests.)
See my home page for more about me.

Gavin’s fabrication work and use of non-traditional features and parts is consistent with the original intent of the Rat Rod.
On Friday, April 28, 2017, I took my three boys on our first camping trip of the year. This is something my family does every year, throughout the spring, summer and fall. We don’t take a camper or pop-up, we don’t rent a cabin, we pitch a tent.
The Maniacs seem to have run into some logistical problems at their last car show, which, seems to be a story in everyone can relate to. Enjoy what these guys are up to now.
I assume that, should you have to travel with a classic, you expect that something may go wrong and you want to be prepared.
What is essential for you when you are traveling to a show?
What if I told you that where you are now, no matter the age or level of societal success, is the old that needs restored?
Unfortunately, I have seen many shows like this, put on with little effort, but, they thought that great advertising would do the job.
This is an awesome post. I love seeing more car stories.
Newest from the Maniacs. Always a good read. Check them out.
