Kevin Moore Found and purchased this 1961 Chevrolet Brookwood-Nomad because it is a one year only body style and he wanted something like that to work on. A car guy since he was a kid, he worked on them with his dad. This is just an extension of those days.

Somewhere between complete and not sure if it will ever get finished

When did you purchase it and for how much?

I purchased it in 2017 for $15000

Why did you choose this vehicle?

I chose this car specifically for the body style/lines, as it is a one year only in production.

What sort of condition was it in when you started the project, what was wrong with it, etc.

It was a Rat rod

What, specifically have you done, or had done to it?

Complete interior upgrade to Nomad, engine upgrade to lt1, power steering, disc brakes, new front suspension, air ride, air.conditioning, now starting exterior chrome

Can you list any and all parts that you have put in?

Lt1 Impala with corvette heads

Dakota digital dash

suspension is an air ride

35 yr old male, grew up working with my dad around his classics, always wanted my own, great bonding project with my dad
