Why did you choose this vehicle?
I liked the shape of this truck
What sort of condition was it in when you started the project, what was wrong with it, etc.
It was drivable, but needed a renovation.
The body was in great shape but needed a lot of TLC throughout.
What, specifically have you done, or had done to it?
I rebuilt the 350 SBC and replaced the transmission with a Jaguar 5 speed manual. Popped in a new clutch.
I put in a completely new wiring loom from American Autowire
Gave it power brakes with disc brakes on the front
Power steering
A new American Oak bed with SS strips and bolts
LED headlights, stoplights and indicators
A rest fuel tank
Autometer gauges,
Ididit chrome adjustable steering column with a Grant steering wheel
One piece door glass with the vent windows removed
Boyd Coddington smoothie 17” wheels
Complete color respray
Custom SS exhaust
Custom driveshaft
Autosound replica 50s style radio and CD player
New carpet and interior trim complete with roof cowboy hat holder
Brake light tow bar
Chrome cheese grater grill
New radiator
SS hugger headers
Power antenna

Bought it in CA on New Year’s Day 2004. Had it shipped to UK and then to Northern Ireland.
I didn’t do much work until 2016 when I retired and had plenty of free time.
Any garages, parts stores, fabrication shops, etc you want to call out specifically?
No all done by myself
