I purchased the truck in January of 2017
The purchase price of the truck was $2,000
Why did you choose this vehicle?
I loved the patina!
What sort of condition was it in when you started the project, what was wrong with it, etc.
It was bone stock, but it had great patina.

Engine swap, airbag suspension, full body-off resto-mod

Full body-off build – Frame stripped and coated with Eastwood chassis black
GSI front drop member with control arms/rack and pinion steering/Airlift Dominator airbags – 2.5″ drop spindles – GSI rear notch w/ 4-link and Airlift Dominator airbags – 3/8″ airline throughout – Accuair Endo-VT 5-gallon tank w/ built-in valves – Accuair E-Level w/ touchpad control – (2) Viair 440 compressors (black) – (2) Viair 2.5 gallon extra tanks
24″ Grover fire truck air horn

I’ve been building cars and trucks since I was old enough to drive. They aren’t perfect, but I build them with my own two hands from the ground up.

Any stories regarding this project?
I have never been a huge stepside fan until I saw this truck on Craigslist.
I went to see it and fell in love with the patina. I knew this was the one!
