1935 Dodge Pickup – Darc Dickson
I have enjoyed working on this pick up and changed my mind many times on how to build it.

I bought it brand new on October 1977 for $3200.00
Love the style. Transported from USA to Germany.
This is built with effort and passion. Low budget build with mostly used parts
I was inspired by my grandpa to purchase this car as a “tribute” car to him. He passed on the one he had to me when I was about 10-11 years old and it became my first car. It was a bond we shared.
When I bought the car, it was nothing but a shell. Body only. Original condition! Pretty good at that. I was actually a tad spooked to start cutting, and chopping. But, I heard my dad saying,, “Man, that’s going to be cool!” So, I dove in!
I used to own my own construction business. There came a time when I had to make a choice of what tools would be best to have on my truck. My original drills and drivers began to fail, quickly and I found myself spending money on batteries that didn’t last, or less expensive tools that would break quickly. I purchased the DeWalt DCF886 because, at the time, I built a lot of decks and this would be one of the main tools that would be used and abused.
For those who are interested in knowing more about why we wax our cars.
I purchased the car when I was 16 and have owned it for almost 47 years.
I saw one as a child and ever since, it has been my favorite car.
